About Us

SurgEase believes that enhancing the diagnostic ability of clinicians is central to improving patient care. As a pioneering medical technology company, SurgEase has leveraged the passion and expertise of its founding surgeons, engineers and scientists to develop a portfolio of hardware and software products.

As a former colorectal trainee himself, SurgEase founder and CEO, Mr Fareed Iqbal, recognised that significant limitations in diagnostic pathways for colorectal disease can cause sub-optimal patient outcomes. SurgEase was formed with a genuine desire to bring to market hardware and software solutions that address these unmet needs, improving the diagnosis and prognosis for patients with colorectal and gastrointestinal diseases. In the hands of clinicians around the world, our products and services will change the way these diseases are managed, enabling collaboration and standardisation, to improve patient care, and save lives.

Our Vision is to enable global excellence in surgical diagnostics.

Our mission is to develop ground-breaking technology that:

  • enables affordable surgical excellence anywhere in the world
  • holds humanity, communication and outstanding care at its core
  • drastically improves patient outcomes
